Glaive Legions (also called War Cry) is a free samurai army battle game that runs in any web browser. It was created, designed and developed by Nishanthan Janarthanarajah, an independent game developer. You can find more of his work at www.nishyai.com.
You command up to 100 samurai across nine unit types: glaive Vanguard, katana Elite, longbow Archers, spear Reserve, Shields, Bombers, Cavalry, battering rams and catapults. Pick a battle plan, shape each squad's formation, flank the enemy and bring down their statue, or storm and defend castles in a 30-battle campaign. There is also live multiplayer, ranked seasons, ghost armies of other players, legendary heroes and daily quests.
